BulkheadOS supports several content types, each designed for a specific purpose. Choosing the right type ensures your content gets the right layout, metadata, and discoverability.

Choosing a Type

Each type affects how your content appears:

  • Pages get no date, no author — they're timeless
  • Posts get a publication date and author — they're part of your feed
  • Procedures render with numbered steps and a reading time estimate
  • Events include date/time fields and can appear in calendar views

Tip: If you're building a documentation site, use the Inform type for your docs pages. It's designed for structured knowledge that doesn't expire.
